Overview

American Overseas Group Limited was founded in 1998 as a Bermuda based reinsurance holding company.

We conduct substantially all our operations through our wholly-owend subsidiary, American Overseas Reinsurance Company Limited.

On December 2, 2011, we changed the names of the holding company and operating subsidiary from RAM Holding Ltd. and RAM Reinsurance Company Ltd. to American Overseas Group Limited and American Overseas Reinsurance Company Limited, respectively, in connection with our new business focus on the Specialty Property/Casualty Reinsurance markets.
